Suzanne Stusnick is from Lancaster, Pa. and for 25 years was an Athletic Director and Professor of Health and Physical Education at a college in N.J. Her husband, Ed, was a wood artist and an Industrial Arts Chairmen in a local high school. Upon retirement they chose to live in St. Augustine because of its antiquity and arts.
When Ed became ill with PSP, a neurodegenerative disease under the Parkinson umbrella, and could no longer do his artistic wood creations, his daughter Cassandra Lietz, an art teacher, introduced him to ceramics. It was then that " Ed and Co Clay Artistry" was founded. Edward ,Cassandra, and Suzanne created and sold their unique creations and donated the profits to "Cure PSP "for neurodegenerative research. After Ed passed away 5 years ago Cassandra and Suzanne have, in his memory, continued "Ed and Co. Clay Artistry" with the proceeds going to research a cure for Parkinson, Alzheimer, and PSP. |
