Heather moved to the St.Augustine area in 2021 and finds inspiration for her fine artwork from her adventures exploring northern Florida’s beautiful coastline. She works primarily with watercolor & acrylic paint. Her work is based on organic forms found in nature and picturesque landscapes painted in a delightfully detailed style.
Recently Heather used her ink line drawing skills to publish her first coloring book, “40 Coastal Sketches.” A stunning adult (all ages) coloring page collection, illustrated with a hand drawn elevated artistic quality. Heather offer’s colorists the feeling of coloring in a professional artist's sketchbook. This coloring book was inspired by St.Augustine and includes sketches of the St.Augustine lighthouse and downtown St. Augustine. Her love for hand inking illustrations grew out of sketching and inking interior renderings from her former interior design career. Heather has wanted to be an artist since she was 5 years old, but ended up becoming an Interior Designer, with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia instead. Since moving to Florida, getting back into fine art has been a dream come true. In her free time, you can find her kayaking, catching sun on the beach, or playing pickleball with friends.
