Laurie is a local St. Augustine dog and wildlife photographer. She and her husband moved to Saint Augustine beach in 2019. Prior to moving here they lived and worked on a 72-acre farm in Oklahoma. Having spent many days with bird dogs, raising birds and cattle, allowed her the opportunity to study animal behavior. To get the best shots you must have the proper camera settings, optimum natural light, and wait for that perfect moment when it all comes together. All this requires patience and quickness. She especially loves the artistry of post editing which can be observed in her images. She has been a member of The Beach Art Studio since 2020. |
