Michele Renaud Slavik

My background is Science and Chemistry and, in Colorado, I had a company called Renaud Naturals. We manufactured skin care and body care products. However, the favorite part of my ownership was to create our website and design the labels for our every-growing product line.

I realized that I had always been an artist and it is where my heart is. Five years ago I sold my manufacturing company and began concentrating on painting. I love experimenting to give each of my works an individual expression. Painting has taken me on an amazing journey of self-discovery and to places I can go only in my imagination. I am humbled that others connect with my work and are willing to join me on this adventure.

My paintings are mostly abstract/impressionist with a little reality and humor thrown in. I love painting almost realistic portraits and nature images and I work mostly with acrylics but also other media such as oils, watercolors, charcoal, ink and pastels.
