Fluid motion and balance are facets of a healthy human being. After retiring from a career that helped people move in space with more efficiency, I often use the same principles while designing my art. My primary and current focus is assemblage of paper art. I create each painted design to move effortlessly, while wearing or while watching each component hang from a ceiling. My large and small painted paper mobiles are enjoyable to watch. They are balanced and provide a “zen” feeling while they move with a fan or breeze. I also design large scale jewelry that is “as light as air.” Women unable to wear traditional earring designs will find they can wear contemporary earrings made of wire and/or paper. |
