Anne SoederI am a self-taught oil painter and commissioned pet portrait artist whose vibrant, expressive style is as unique as her journey into art. I began painting while recovering from serious leg injuries, beginning by watching Bob Ross tutorials and continuing taking instruction along the way. I love to travel and I just returned from a Plein air artist retreat in Sicily.
After retiring from a successful first career in biostatistics, I discovered an interest in painting. Her deep love of animals shines through in my pet portraits, where I capture not only a pet’s likeness but also its personality and spirit. When I’m not in the studio, my husband Tom and I, dedicate our time to helping dogs in need through Salty Paws Dog Rescue.
