The artist, Angela Sopranzi, was born when she retired after years of being a wife, mother, grandmother, real estate broker and interior designer among other things. It was then that she realized what she wanted to be “when she grew up!” When she is not painting, she can be found meandering through the world of learning all things Italian, cooking and enjoying the beach and the Florida sunshine. She says inspiration is all around us and was especially influenced by the colors and sunlight of Central and South America and Italy where she lived and traveled to over the years. She is a member of the Society of Mixed Media Artists (SoMMA); The Art Studio and Gallery of St. Augustine Beach and Flagler County Art League. She has won several awards in recognition of her work.
